UAE Sends 288 Tons of Humanitarian Aid to Gaza as Part of Ongoing Relief Efforts
Two convoys carrying essential humanitarian aid entered the Gaza Strip this week through the Egyptian Rafah crossing, bringing the total number of convoys sent to 121 to date. Two convoys comprising 20 trucks delivered more than 288 tons of aid. Food, medical resources, nutritional supplements for children, clothing, shelter items, women’s health kits and other needs.
The supply is a component of ‘Operation Civilrus Night 3’, the UAE’s broader humanitarian effort to assist the Palestinian people amid the current crisis.
The UAE’s dedication to help delivery is demonstrated by the 1,055 relief vehicles that have been dispatched to Gaza as part of this operation, carrying 17,312 tons of aid in total. The most vulnerable citizens of Gaza benefit from these donations by having their basic necessities met, their suffering lessened, and their living situations throughout the conflict improved.
The UAE’s support extends beyond Gaza. In recent days, two relief flights landed at Beirut airport, delivering 80 tonnes of essential goods to Lebanese women affected by the ongoing conflict. Additionally, on November 2, a relief flight carrying 40 tons of critical medical and food supplies was sent to Syria to help Lebanese refugees and Syrian returnees.
These humanitarian efforts highlight the UAE’s continued commitment to supporting its neighbors in the region facing crisis, ensuring that the most vulnerable people receive the assistance they need.
