UAE Launches Groundbreaking AI Academy to Develop Future Tech Leaders
The UAE is launching a ground-breaking AI Academy, a significant project aimed at empowering people in the field of artificial intelligence, and will help develop the next generation of AI leaders.
The Academy was unveiled at the ‘Machines Can See’ event at Dubai AI Week by the Polynome Group in partnership with the Abu Dhabi School of Management. The aim is to improve AI proficiency across a range of sectors. Initially, it will offer short-form courses aimed at executives, government representatives and technology professionals, covering key topics including generative AI, national AI programmes and the ethical implications of AI implementation. These classes will be globally accessible as they will be offered in multiple languages.
In the future, the academy will launch its flagship programme, the Chief AI Officer (CAIO) programme, which will last between 3 and 4 months and focus on AI strategy, governance and practical applications in critical industries such as healthcare, finance and public services.
With the help of technology expert NVIDIA, dedicated seminars will be held by world-class scientists and business executives, who will provide their expertise for a number of training modules. The ultimate goal of the partnership is to establish the UAE as a global leader in artificial intelligence by fostering innovation and the expansion of AI-driven enterprises.
