UAE Jobs: Work Bundle eases employment and residency for foreign workers

Streamlined processes for hiring, renewing, and managing permits across all seven emirates

UAE Launches Work Bundle Platform: Simplifying Employment and Residency

The UAE government has launched the Work Bundle platform to boost the country’s global competitiveness and make it a better place to live and work. The application streamlines the recruitment of international workers and manages employment procedures in the UAE.

Work Bundle was first launched in Dubai in March and is now available in all seven emirates: Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Sharjah, Ajman, Umm Al Quwain, Ras Al Khaimah and Fujairah. Work in the UAE is the name of a digital platform that combines several key services.

The package offers 3 key services – hiring new employees for business owners and private companies, pre-renewal of work permits for existing employees and cancellation of employee permits and residences.

The platform provides private sector businesses, individuals and investors with a single, fast method to fulfill all necessary residency and employment requirements. Some of these services include work permits, employment status adjustment, visas, employment contracts, Emirates ID, residency services and medical examinations.

Key benefits of Work Bundle
A unified platform: Users now have a single access point for all services instead of using multiple platforms.

Simplified process: There are only five steps to complete the procedures instead of fifteen, and only five documents are required instead of sixteen.

Fewer visits: There are now only two service centers instead of seven.

Faster processing: Process processing times are reduced from 30 business days to just five.

By reducing administrative hurdles and making the process faster, more efficient and easier to use, Job Bundle seeks to simplify and expedite the management of expatriate workers in the UAE. The platform has been developed to serve both individuals and company owners, ensuring that the UAE remains among the fastest and easiest places for residency and employment processes.
