UAE Ministry Announces Safety Guidelines for 53rd National Day Celebrations
Dubai: The Ministry of Interior in the UAE has issued guidelines for the public during the 53rd National Day (Eid Al Etihad) celebrations.
According to the advisory, the public should avoid organizing or participating in random parades and gatherings. They should follow all traffic regulations and follow the instructions of the police.
Drivers, passengers or pedestrians alike have been advised not to use party sprays.
“Ensure that the front and rear license plates of the vehicle are visible; do not change the color of the vehicle or darken or tint the front windows,” the ministry said.
“Do not place any stickers, signs or logos on the vehicle unless they are specifically for Eid Al Etihad and in accordance with official guidelines and conditions,” it added.
Motorists were warned against violating the guidelines, including exceeding the number of passengers in vehicles.
“Do not let anyone hang out through the windows or sunroofs of vehicles,” the ministry advised.
