UAE Government Annual Meetings to Address Economy, Digital Transformation, and More
The annual meetings of the UAE Government, scheduled for November 7-8, will bring together 500 ministers and high-ranking officials to discuss a range of critical topics. These include the economy, digital transformation, artificial intelligence, housing, national identity, Emiratisation, health, and food security. The event will also provide updates on the upcoming climate change conference COP28, which the UAE is hosting from November 30 to December 12. Chaired by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, these meetings aim to foster collaboration among government entities at federal and local levels to address current challenges and develop strategies and initiatives for the nation’s better future. The discussions will center on reinforcing national identity, unity, and culture, as well as advancing the UAE’s economy and competitiveness. The meetings will also focus on plans and strategies that align with the UAE’s long-term vision, known as the UAE Centennial 2071, which aims to make the country the best place to live in the world by the year 2071. The event will review significant developments and changes in the legislative and judicial sectors of the UAE, evaluate achievements in carbon neutrality and environmental initiatives, and assess the impact of the country’s comprehensive economic partnership agreements. Other key areas of discussion will include attracting investments, developing legislative infrastructure, education, healthcare, digital transformation, climate change, food security, health, and housing.
