UAE and Ghana Strengthen Ties with High-Level Diplomatic Meeting in Abu Dhabi


Abu Dhabi [UAE], May 12 : In a step toward deepening bilateral relations, Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the UAE’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, met with Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, Ghana’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, in Abu Dhabi on Sunday.

The two Foreign Ministers engaged in extensive discussions aimed at strengthening relations between the UAE and Ghana, with an emphasis on common interests and long-term prosperity for both countries. The discussions emphasized the value of strategic cooperation in several key areas, such as trade, investment, energy, and the overall economy.

Reiterating the UAE’s strong commitment to fostering more extensive and vibrant collaboration with Ghana, Sheikh Abdullah extended a cordial welcome to his Ghanaian counterpart. He emphasized the two nations’ common goal of pursuing inclusive development and economic expansion.
Also present at the meeting were Sheikh Shakhboot bin Nahyan Al Nahyan, Minister of State, and Abdulla Murad Al Mandoos, the UAE’s Ambassador to Ghana, reflecting the significance the UAE places on strengthening its partnership with West Africa.
