UAE, Egypt Strengthen Strategic Ties as Leaders Meet in Cairo


On Saturday, President Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi met in Cairo to talk about enhancing the long-standing ties between Egypt and the United Arab Emirates.
Their talks focused on deepening cooperation in investment, economic development and other key areas, in order to promote long-term progress and mutual prosperity.

The two leaders reiterated their commitment to strengthening bilateral relations, while emphasizing their shared goal of promoting peace and progress in the region. They explored ways to enhance cooperation in a number of areas, in order to strengthen the long-standing alliance between the two countries.

After the talks, President El-Sisi hosted a special Ramadan Iftar dinner for Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed and the senior UAE delegation accompanying him. The event emphasized the approach of brotherhood and cooperation that characterizes relations between Egypt and the UAE.

Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Zayed bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and Mohamed bin Hamad bin Tahnoon Al Nahyan were among the important UAE officials present at the high-level conference. Among the other prominent Emirati visitors were Ali bin Hammad Al Shamsi, Sultan bin Ahmed Al Jaber, Ahmed Mubarak Al Mazrouei, Khaldoun Khalifa Al Mubarak, and Mariam Al Kaabi, the UAE Ambassador Egypt.

The significance of this diplomatic engagement was underscored by the participation of Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly, several ministries, and top officials from Egypt. The gathering and dinner served as a reminder of the UAE and Egypt’s dedication to promoting economic cooperation, long-term strategic partnerships, and regional stability.
