Sheikha Manal Bint Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman, Vice-Chairman, Deputy Prime Minister and President of the Presidential Court Sheikh Mansour Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairman of the UAE Gender Equality Council, praised the leadership’s commitment to supporting women. The UAE Cabinet, chaired by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, has appointed Moussa Mohammed Al Suwaidi as the Secretary General of the UAE Gender Equality Council. This is in line with the leadership’s commitment to supporting Emirati women and investing in the development of national human resources. Mona Khanem Al Marri, Vice-Chairman of the UAE Gender Equality Council, said, “The new structure of the Council will bring together talented Emiratis from various fields to drive gender balance initiatives and elevate the UAE’s position in the international rankings. Under the leadership of His Highness Sheikha Manal bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Together with Makhdoom and our federal and local partners, we are entering a transformative phase of strengthening gender balance in all sectors, in line with the UAE leadership’s vision for sustainable economic growth and social development.”

Moussa Al Suwadi expressed his deep gratitude to the UAE leadership for entrusting him with this important role. She reiterated her commitment to serve the nation’s vision of empowering women to contribute to promoting national progress and raising the nation’s global stature. “I am honored by the trust placed in me and will dedicate myself to fulfilling the responsibilities it entails, guided by the vision of our leadership and their inspirational direction. Mouza Al Suwaidi has over 20 years of extensive experience in the public and private sectors, holding various leadership positions, most recently as Head of Community Engagement at the Knowledge and Human Development Authority in Dubai. Prior to this, he was the Managing Director of Shared Services at the Ajman Municipality and Planning Department and worked in Procurement at Emirates Global Aluminium, the world’s largest producer of high-quality aluminum and the UAE’s largest industrial company outside the oil and gas sector. . Mouza Al Suwaidi holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Wayne State University, USA and a Bachelor of Applied Science degree from Higher Technical Colleges.
