UAE Sets Ramadan Work Hours for Government Employees
Abu Dhabi:The modified working hours for government employees during Ramadan 2025 have been formally notified by the government Authority for Government Human Resources (FAHR).
According to the circular, federal agencies and government ministries will be open Monday through Thursday from 9:00 AM to 2:30 PM and on Friday from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
These revised timings are intended to accommodate employees’ religious and personal commitments during the holy month.
FAHR also highlighted that ministries and federal authorities have the flexibility to implement remote work or flexible scheduling based on operational requirements, ensuring efficiency while maintaining employee well-being.
On the occasion of Ramadan, FAHR extended warm wishes to the UAE’s leadership, citizens, and residents, emphasizing the spirit of unity and compassion that defines the holy month.
