UAE and Serbian Leaders Discuss Expanding Strategic Partnership

Belgrade, 5 October, 2024 — The Honorable The leaders of Serbia and the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Aleksandar Vucic, respectively, examined the potential for further mutually beneficial cooperation as well as the wide strategic alliance between their nations.

President Vucic expressed his gratitude for the visit of Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayedin, which strengthens the blossoming cooperation of the two countries in many fields, and supports the common goals of the people, such as continuous progress and support for shoes.

He stressed that the UAE is a strong supporter of peace and stability in the Balkans and attaches great importance to its relations with regional countries, especially Serbia.

He also noted that UAE-Serbia relations are growing steadily, with significant progress following the signing of the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership Agreement between the two countries.

He also reaffirmed that the UAE strongly believes in the strong link between development, peace and stability and the importance of global cooperation. He underlined that economic, investment and trade cooperation should continue to ensure a better future for all.

He said the UAE-Serbia Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement is an important step in strengthening economic cooperation between the two countries at the government level and in the private sector. It is expected to increase trade and investment between the UAE and Serbia.
