UAE Ministry of Defense: 4 Soldiers Killed, 9 Injured in Duty Accident
The UAE Ministry of Defense has announced that four members of its armed forces have died in an accident while on duty in the country. Nine more people were injured in the incident on Tuesday evening, September 24.
The ministry said that the injured personnel were immediately shifted to the hospital and are being given necessary medical treatment. The ministry expressed hope that they will recover soon.
The Ministry of Defense condoled the loss of its brave soldiers and conveyed its heartfelt condolences to the families of the martyrs.
In February, four armed forces personnel and a Bahraini officer were killed in a terrorist attack in Somalia.
Colonel Mohammed Al Mansouri, Deputy Secretary 1 Mohammed Al Shamsi, Deputy Secretary 1 Khalifa Al Balushi and Corporal Sulaiman Al Shehhi were involved in training and qualifying the Somali Armed Forces.
