Royal Oman Police Arrests Smugglers Attempting to Smuggle Over 57 Kilograms of Crystal Meth

The Royal Oman Police (ROP) announced the arrest of two smugglers attempting to transport over 57 kilograms of crystal meth, along with quantities of hashish and psychotropic substance tablets, into the Sultanate of Oman. The arrest was made by the Department for Combating Drugs and Psychotropic Substances, with the suspects being of Asian nationality. The operation, led by the North Batinah Governorate Police, underscores the authorities’ commitment to combating drug trafficking and maintaining security.
