Emirates Launches First Airbus A350 on Commercial Flight to Edinburgh

Dubai, January 4, 2025: Emirates marked a major milestone on Friday as it launched its first commercial flight from Dubai to Edinburgh, bringing the first Airbus A350 into service.

The aircraft, which is the first of 65 A350s to enter Emirates’ fleet in the upcoming years, features the airline’s newest interior items.

Emirates’ A350 can accommodate 312 passengers in 32 Next Generation Business Class lie-flat seats, 21 Premium Economy seats, and 259 Economy Class seats thanks to its three cabin class configuration.

The eight international locations that Emirates will serve with its Airbus A350 in the upcoming months are Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Kuwait, Bahrain, Colombo, Lyon, Muscat, and Bologna.
