In a dazzling ceremony at the Jose Adolfo Pineda Arena in San Salvador, El Salvador, Sheynnis Palacios from Nicaragua emerged victorious, claiming the title of Miss Universe 2023. The grand event saw Miss Universe 2022, R’Bonney Gabriel from the USA, pass the crown to the newly crowned beauty queen.

The final three contestants included representatives from Nicaragua, Australia, and Thailand, but it was Sheynnis Palacios who stole the spotlight and secured the prestigious title. Notably, Indian contestant Shweta Sharda made it to the semi-finals, ranking in the top 20, yet narrowly missed the top 10 after the swimsuit round.

Adding to the pageant’s uniqueness, Michelle Cohn from Guatemala and Maria Camila Avella Montanez from Colombia made history as the first married mothers to participate in the Miss Universe competition.

The official Miss Universe Twitter page shared captivating images of the newly crowned Sheynnis Palacios, stating, “MISS UNIVERSE 2023 IS @sheynnispalacio.”

The 72nd Miss Universe pageant, featuring contestants from approximately 90 nations, unfolded in El Salvador, offering a global stage for beauty, talent, and cultural diversity. Despite the competition’s intensity, it was Sheynnis Palacios’s grace and presence that ultimately earned her the coveted Miss Universe title.
