Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed Strengthens Cultural Ties with Swiss Ambassador
Dubai [UAE], February 28: Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairperson of the Dubai Culture and Arts Authority (Dubai Culture), met with Arthur Mattli, Ambassador of the Swiss Confederation to the UAE, to discuss ways to deepen cultural and creative cooperation between Dubai and Switzerland.
The strong bilateral ties between the UAE and Switzerland, particularly in the areas of trade, education and cultural exchange, were reaffirmed during the conference. Both sides pledged to support innovation and foster collaborations in the creative sector. They underlined the value of creativity in fostering better diplomatic and business ties, and the importance of cultural heritage in building national identities.
Conversations centered on examining fresh opportunities for creative cooperation and information exchange, emphasizing the value of fortifying relationships in important creative domains including design, history, and literature. Both parties concurred that innovation is crucial to promoting cultural advancement and advancing the long-term sustainability objectives of their respective nations.
Sheikha Latifah reaffirmed that creativity is an important factor in social and economic development and reiterated Dubai’s commitment to promoting cultural exchange and global cooperation. He underlined that a thriving cultural sector is key to influencing the national economy and achieving the common goal of a prosperous creative future for Dubai and Switzerland. He also emphasized the importance of strategic leadership in driving cultural change and ensuring long-term results.
