The board of directors of Almarai Company, the largest dairy company in the Middle East, has proposed a substantial cash dividend for 2024. The recommendation is for a total of 1 billion Saudi riyals (approximately $266.16 million) to be paid to the company’s shareholders.

The total number of shares eligible for the dividend is one billion, and each eligible share will receive a dividend of SAR 1. The proposed distribution is subject to the general assembly meeting’s approval, which will be decided by a vote of shareholders. As a reward for investment in the business, shareholders will receive dividends after the cash is paid, demonstrating Almarai’s solid financial performance and commitment to returning their money to investors.

The move demonstrates the company’s efforts to maintain investor confidence while ensuring consistent profitability.
