Abhishek Sharma and Rasikh Salam were pivotal in India A’s resounding seven-wicket victory over the United Arab Emirates in Monday’s ACC Men’s T20 Emerging Teams Asia Cup 2024 in Al Amerat.

After winning the toss, the United Arab Emirates decided to bat first, however this decision backfired because they couldn’t tackle a well-prepared Indian bowling campaign.
In just 17 overs, the UAE squad went out for a pittance of 107 runs. With scores of 34 and 28, respectively, Rahul Chopra and skipper Basil Hameed were the only players to contribute significantly with the bat. The pressure from the Indian bowlers was too much for the rest of the batting order to withstand.

India A’s star player was Rasikh Salam, who spearheaded the bowling attack with a remarkable three-wicket haul in just two overs.
