Rajyavardhan Rathore Engages UAE Minister to Boost Investments in Rajasthan
The UAE’s Minister of Foreign Trade, Thani Bin Ahmed Al Siodi, recently met with Rajvavardhan Rathore, the Minister of Industries and Commerce, at the Rising Rajasthan Global Investment Summit in Dubai. To draw investors to Rajasthan, a conference was arranged. Distinguished UAE businesses and members of the UAE-India Business Council were also engaged with by the Rathore team.
Groups from the United Arab Emirates were invited to invest in Rajasthan by the delegation. By hosting an investment forum while in office, Rathore demonstrated the government’s dedication to enhancing the economic climate. “The government’s political will to ease the business environment has been clearly demonstrated by the government’s decision to hold an investment summit in its first year in office,” according to him.
Investment opportunities and policy reforms
Rathore said that new policies will be launched soon and comprehensive policy revision is underway. These changes are intended to facilitate business operations at a lower cost and with ease. The delegation held discussions with companies from sectors such as logistics, real estate, petrochemicals, financial services, healthcare, renewable energy, all film making, solar and steel manufacturing and healthcare.
The meetings included interactions with business groups associated with the UAE Chapter of the UAE-India Business Council (UIBC). Companies like Keff Holdings, DP World, Lulu Financial Holdings, Emirates NBD, Sharaf Group and EFS Facilities are part of these discussions. The focus is on exploring business opportunities in Rajasthan and participating in the Rising Rajasthan Global Investment Summit to be held in Jaipur from December 9-11.
Future interactions and assistance
The delegation will go to Qatar subsequent to their visit to the United Arab Emirates. The Indian Ambassador to Dubai, Satish Kumar Sivan, urged UAE companies and trade associations to make investments in Rajasthan. “The consular office in Dubai will be ready to connect interested investors with authorities in Rajasthan and facilitate their investments in the state,” he said.
The goal of initiatives to fortify India-United Arab Emirates economic relations is to position Rajasthan as an attractive investment destination. The summit provides a forum to promote international cooperation and highlight prospects in a range of sectors.
