Oman has issued treasury bills (T-bills) worth RO 40 million (103.6 million) with maturity dates ranging from about one month to six months.
T-Bills issued in three tranches of RO 24 million, RO 4 million and RO12 million yielded over 4.4%.
A piece of RO 24 million has a maturity of 28 days, the average and minimum accepted price for RO 100 is RO 99.660. The average discount rate and yield reached 4.43214% and 4.44726% respectively, state-owned Oman News Agency reported.
T-Bills worth RO 4 million mature in 91 days and average accepted price is RO 98.838 and minimum accepted price is RO 98.835 for every RO 100. Average discount rate and yield are 4.66277% and 4.71762% respectively.
T-bills worth RO12 million have a maturity period of 182 days, with an average accepted price of RO 97.638 and a minimum accepted price of RO 100 of RO 97.620. The average discount rate for this tranche is 4.73715% and average yield. At 4.85175%.
