Abu Dhabi National Day: Four-Day Break for Public and Private Sectors

The UAE has announced a four-day holiday for government employees in celebration of the 53rd National Day, known as Eid Al Etihad. Public sector holidays will officially fall on Saturday, December 2, and Sunday, December 3. This gives the public sector a continuous four-day respite, which is complemented by the weekends on Friday, December 1, and Monday, December 4.

As a show of inclusivity, these holidays are also observed in the business sector, providing employees throughout the United Arab Emirates with an extended weekend to celebrate the country’s accomplishments.

The 53rd National Day, which celebrates the progress and unity of the UAE since its founding, will feature a variety of celebrations and activities.
