Inauguration of Al Tayyari Mosque by Sharjah Ruler Dr. Sheikh Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi
His Highness Dr. Sheikh Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, the Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, inaugurated the Al Tayyari Mosque located in the Mahlab area of Dibba Al Hisn. The mosque, designed in the distinctive Fatimid architectural style, has the capacity to accommodate 800 worshippers and boasts various amenities, including indoor and outdoor prayer areas.
His Highness Dr. Sheikh Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi officially inaugurated the Al Tayyari Mosque on the Corniche Road in the Mahlab area of Dibba Al Hisn.The mosque is designed in the Fatimid architectural style and covers a spacious area of 1,118 square metres. It features a dome with a diameter of 9 metres and a height of 25 metres. Additionally, a towering minaret stands at 47 metres.
The mosque is adorned with detailed Islamic designs and verses from the Quran, adding to its distinctive features. The inauguration ceremony included the removal of a curtain to mark the opening of the mosque.Al Tayyari Mosque is equipped with various worship areas, including an indoor space capable of accommodating 350 worshippers, a separate prayer area for women with a capacity of 50, and an outdoor yard that can hold up to 400 worshippers.
In addition to the worship areas, the mosque offers a library covering 36 square metres, ensuring access to valuable Islamic literature. The facility also includes restrooms and ablution facilities for both men and women.The Ruler of Sharjah received a detailed briefing on the mosque’s design, construction details, and the range of amenities and services available for worshippers during his visit.During the visit, His Highness Dr. Sheikh Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi toured the mosque, gaining insights into the facilities and services provided for worshippers.
