IBPC Dubai Launches ‘India Dialogues’ to Explore India’s Growth Journey
Dubai, United Arab Emirates: The Indian Business & Professional Council (IBPC) Dubai held a powerful event at the Grand Hyatt Hotel this week to commemorate National Day and kick off the new season of its “India Dialogues” series. With an emphasis on India’s advancements and the vital role that international collaborations play in determining its future, the series aims to promote significant discussions that strengthen India-UAE relations.
Prominent individuals who spoke at the event included Dr. Ashwin Fernandes, author of Modialogue: Conversations for a Viksit Bharat; Dr. Atul Chauhan, President of the Amity Education Foundation; Dr. (CA) Sahitya K. Chaturvedi, Secretary General of IBPC Dubai; and Smt. Smriti Irani, former Union Cabinet Minister of India.
These experts shared valuable insights on India’s transformative growth, the role of education in its future, and the leadership driving its national development.
The event began with the launch of Modialogue, followed by an engaging discussion between Ms. Stuti Sinha and Dr. Fernandes. The conversation focused on India’s vision for development and the strategic importance of education in shaping the nation’s future.
Smt. Irani’s keynote address emphasized key government initiatives to empower women and marginalized communities. Dr. Chauhan discussed how education is essential for India’s continued development, while Dr. Fernandes considered how Prime Minister Modi’s Mann Ki Baat influenced national conversation and how it served as the basis for his work.
Shri B.G. Krishnan, Consul (Economic, Trade, Commerce & Education), was also present at the occasion. He emphasized the strategic importance of India-UAE relations as well as the possibility of deeper bilateral cooperation across sectors.
Mr. Dinesh Kothari, Governor of IBPC Dubai, gave closing remarks during the occasion, stressing the importance of the Indian diaspora to the development of both countries as well as the increasing international recognition of India’s accomplishments.
Looking ahead, IBPC Dubai will host a sectorial summit on Real Estate and Construction on 13th December 2024 at Dubai Chambers, addressing key topics such as Net Zero goals in construction, new regulations, and the growing demand for luxury properties.
