Dubai-Mumbai Underwater Train: A Two-Hour Journey from India to UAE on Track
India-UAE High-Speed Rail to Cut Travel Time to 2 Hours by 2030

Dubai-Mumbai Underwater Train: A 1000 km/h Revolution in Travel
Abu Dhabi Dubai to Mumbai high-speed Underwater train. The train, which travels at a speed of 1000 km per hour underwater, can carry not only passengers but also water and fuel. The UAE National Advisor Bureau Limited has come up with the project. If implemented, the India-UAE travel time will be reduced to 2 hours. Currently, it takes 4 hours by plane.
The high-speed train project through the sea offers hope at a time when the India-UAE passenger ship service project is wavering in promises. Abdullah Al Shehi, Chief Consultant at the National Advisor Bureau Limited, indicated that it will be beneficial not only for the two countries but also for other countries through which the rail passes.
The project will further strengthen the relationship between the two countries.
The project will enable oil to be transported from the UAE to India and fresh water to be transported from India to the UAE. The project is being planned in such a way that passengers can enjoy the views of the deep sea.
The challenging phase is to establish a high-speed rail network under the sea. Feasibility studies, inspections, cooperation from the countries along the route, and crores of funds are required. The cities of Dubai and Mumbai will be connected by rail over a distance of 2000 km. If the project gets the approval of both countries, the construction will be completed and the service will start in 2030.
If the project is on track, the economic corridor to Europe will also become active. The economic corridor envisages a sea route from India to the UAE, a rail route to Israel, and a sea route to Europe.
