Dubai Launches Exciting Ramadan Home Decoration Contest with AED 100,000 Grand Prize
This Ramadan, Brand Dubai and Ferjan Dubai are launching an amazing home décor competition for residents of Dubai. In order to celebrate the spirit of Ramadan and compete for top prizes, families are encouraged to decorate their houses with festive lights and decorations as part of the competition “Dubai’s Best Decorated Ramadan Homes.”
Amazing Awards for Participants
The second and third place winners will be awarded AED 60,000 ($16,300) and AED 40,000 ($10,900) respectively, while the competition offers AED 100,000 ($27,200) to the first place winner. Seven contestants will also receive two Umrah trips, making it a meaningful and innovative way to celebrate Ramadan.
Increasing Community Relations
The project coincides with Dubai’s “Year of Community”, which aims to promote cultural heritage, strengthen social ties and preserve customs.
Shaima Al Suwaidi, director of Brand Dubai, highlighted how the contest fosters a feeling of community:

How to Take Part: Only residents of Dubai may participate.
- Open to Dubai residents only.
- Homes must be decorated with lights and festive elements.
- The #RamadanInDubai logo can be included.
- Participants must submit a creative video showcasing their decorated home, reflecting the “Year of the Community” theme.
- The deadline for submissions is March 21.
To ensure diverse representation across the neighborhoods, a panel of judges will select the winners based on their innovation, ingenuity and aesthetic appeal.

Ferjan CEO Alia Al Shamlan stressed that the competition is about more than just decoration:
“This initiative spreads joy across the city and highlights the role that traditions play in strengthening Dubai’s social fabric.”
As homes across Dubai light up for Ramadan, the competition aims to create a vibrant, united and celebratory atmosphere for all.
