“Bahrain-Japan Partnership: E-Growth and Tamkeen Join Forces to Empower Bahraini Talent.”

An agreement between a large Japanese application developer, E-Growth, and the Labour Fund “Tamkeen” was made public in order to boost Bahraini talent’s access to overseas training possibilities. The project represents a crucial turning point in the partnership between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Bahrain Embassy in Japan as part of Tamkeen’s Global-Ready Talent Program.

Bahrainis will join E-Growth as application developers over the 12-month program, working on mission-critical applications, creating, designing, and developing Java apps, and collaborating with their team on various web infrastructure layers. Given that the ICT industry contributed 5.1% of Japan’s GDP in 2021, it is noteworthy that Japan is a technological powerhouse that makes significant investments in digital technologies.

ICT-related bachelor’s degree holders were chosen to participate in this 12-month program. Through Tamkeen’s recently developed ‘Kawader’ portal, interested persons can register for comparable training opportunities in the ICT field.
