Air India Express Extends a 15% Discount on International Flights in Celebration of UAE’s 52nd National Day
As the United Arab Emirates joyfully commemorates its 52nd National Day, both local and international entities are joining the celebration, with Air India Express leading the way by offering a special tribute to the occasion. The budget carrier announced a generous 15% discount on all international flights, available for direct channel bookings made until December 3, 2023. The discounted fares are applicable for travel from December 2, 2023, to March 31, 2024, adding an extra layer of festivity to the UAE National Day.
Air India Express, a prominent player in the aviation sector, operates flights to various destinations in the Gulf and Middle East. The UAE is a crucial market for Air India Express, with a comprehensive network connecting multiple destinations within the country. The airline boasts a robust schedule of 195 weekly departures from India to the UAE alone. Among its key destinations in the Emirates, Dubai takes the lead with 80 weekly flights, followed closely by Sharjah with 77 flights and Abu Dhabi with 31 flights. The airline also serves other UAE cities, including Al Ain with 2 flights and Ras Al Khaimah with 5 weekly flights.
Aloke Singh, Managing Director of Air India Express, shared insights into the airline’s strategic plans for the Gulf region, emphasizing a focus on increasing capacity and providing enhanced connectivity for Gulf travelers in various Tier 2 and 3 cities across India. Singh outlined plans for potential capacity increases to Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Qatar, and the UAE. The emphasis on better connectivity within India indicates the airline’s commitment to serving the diverse needs of its passengers.
