Abu Dhabi Orders Closure of Food Trading Company Over Safety Risks
A food trading company in Abu Dhabi has been ordered to close due to security concerns, officials said on Wednesday.
The Abu Dhabi Agriculture and Food Safety Authority (Adafsa) has closed the Idiadi Food Trading Company in Musafa Industrial Park for violating food safety standards.
Its practices were also found to pose a “significant risk” to public health, Adafsa said.
The commission conducts regular inspections of establishments across the emirate to ensure compliance with regulations that protect the health and safety of residents.
Inspectors visit not only shops but also restaurants and cafes.
