Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Sheikh Khaled Arrives in Brazil for 19th G20 Summit

The Highness of The Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, has formally arrived in Brazil to represent the United Arab Emirates at the 19th G20 summit during November 18–19, 2024, in Rio de Janeiro. The president of the United Arab Emirates, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, is represented at the summit by Sheikh Khaled. This visit demonstrates the UAE’s ongoing involvement in world affairs, especially in influencing international economic and political debates at the G20 forum.

The Crown Prince is accompanied by a distinguished group of high-ranking officials. These include Mohamed Hassan Alsuwaidi, Minister of Investment, who works to advance the nation’s investment and economic diversification strategies; Ahmed Ali Al Sayegh, Minister of State, who is responsible for strengthening the UAE’s international relations; Reem Al Hashimy, the UAE Minister of State for International Cooperation, who is instrumental in establishing international partnerships; and Saif Saeed Ghobash, Secretary General of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council, who is in charge of important government projects.

The mission also includes Waleed Al Mokarrab Al Muhairi, Deputy Group CEO at Mubadala, a major contributor to the UAE’s international investment portfolio, and Saleh Ahmad Salem Alsuwaidi, UAE Ambassador to Brazil, who is in charge of fostering diplomatic relations between the two countries.

The Crown Prince’s attendance at the summit demonstrates the UAE’s dedication to global collaboration and its position as a leader in debates about sustainability, technological innovation, and global economic growth.
