Fire breaks out in Sharjah flat: Four dead, several apartments damaged

Sharjah: A fire in a flat in Sharjah caused extensive damage. Four people died and six were injured in a fire in a flat in Al Nahda. The fire broke out on the top floor of a multi-storey building where many expatriates live.

Sharjah Police said that the fire broke out at 11:30 am in a flat opposite the Sahara Center. Several apartments were gutted. Firefighters and police reached the spot and brought the fire under control by noon.

In another fire in the Muwaila Industrial Area, a warehouse was completely gutted.
