Adnoc Awards Dh65.7 Billion in Contracts to 400 UAE Firms, Boosting National Growth

In the first half of 2025, Adnoc awarded contracts worth Dh65.7 billion to nearly 400 local suppliers, contractors, and service providers. This move supports economic growth, helps local businesses thrive, and adds lasting value to the UAE.

The contracts cover important areas like drilling, logistics, operational support, and engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC). In order to support the private sector and create robust supply chains, Adnoc prioritizes purchasing from regional businesses through its In-Country Value (ICV) program.

According to Adnoc’s Director of Commercial & In-Country Value, Dr. Saleh Al Hashmi, these contract awards increase competitiveness and productivity while also generating skilled jobs for UAE citizens, which benefits the entire economy. He encouraged partners to work together to support the country’s industrial growth.

Some key companies benefiting include NMDC Energy, Target Engineering, Al Dhafra Co-operative Society, Arab Development Establishment, Excel Astra Engineering, Robt. Stone, GISCO, and Euro Mechanical & Electrical Contracting. . These contracts demonstrate Adnoc’s commitment to collaborating with reputable domestic vendors who enhance their business operations.

Through its ICV program, Adnoc intends to spend an additional Dh200 billion ($54.5 billion) in the UAE economy over the next five years. By 2030, the company wants to create Dh90 billion ($24.5 billion) worth of goods locally.

To make it easier for suppliers and entrepreneurs to access opportunities, Adnoc recently launched the “Make it with Adnoc” app. This platform gives businesses clear information about upcoming contracts so they can plan and grow.

Since starting in 2018, the ICV program has helped drive economic growth and created over 17,000 jobs for Emiratis in the private sector.
