UAE weather: Fair to partly cloudy day with rising temperatures
Residents to Experience Partly Cloudy Skies, High Heat, and Possible Localized Rain

Weather Update for the United Arab Emirates: August 11 Overview Most residents in the UAE can look forward to a generally pleasant day with partly cloudy conditions. According to the National Meteorological Center (NCM), weather conditions are expected to remain fair, with rising temperatures.
Cloud Coverage and Rainfall The Weather Department indicates that low clouds will form over the eastern coast. In addition, convective cloud formation is likely in the eastern and southern regions. These convective clouds may lead to localized rain showers in these areas.
Rainfall Expectations While the Weather Department has forecast potential rainfall in certain regions, the most significant precipitation is expected to occur overnight and into Monday morning along parts of the West Coast. The chance of rain is attributed to the convective cloud activity.
Temperature Forecast Temperatures are anticipated to be quite high across the country. In specific areas such as Razeen, Mezaira, Gasyoura, and Al Quaa, temperatures may reach up to 50°C. In urban centers, temperatures are forecast to hit 45°C in Abu Dhabi and 43°C in Dubai. Conversely, the temperatures in the mountainous regions could drop to around 22°C. Humidity levels are expected to vary significantly, with a minimum of 15% in the mountains and a maximum of 85% in coastal areas and islands.
Wind and Sea Conditions The UAE will experience light to moderate winds throughout the day, which are expected to pick up at times, potentially stirring up dust. The Arabian Gulf and the Sea of Oman will be moderately calm.
Overall, residents should prepare for hot temperatures and know the potential for localized rain and dust due to wind activity.
