However, in the second 20-over match held in Dubai yesterday, the New Zealand team suffered a defeat at the hands of the United Arab Emirates.

In the initial innings, New Zealand amassed a total of 142 runs while losing 8 wickets in a span of 20 overs. Mark Shapman emerged as the highest scorer with 63 runs off 46 deliveries, including 3 fours and 3 sixes. Ayan Afzal Khan and Mohammad Javadullah claimed 3 and 2 wickets, respectively.

The United Arab Emirates team achieved a total of 144 runs while losing only 3 wickets in 15.4 overs, resulting in a 7-wicket victory.
