Ambassador Tirmizi Extends Invitation for UAE Investments in Pakistan

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s Ambassador to the United Arab Emirates, Faisal Niaz Tirmizi, delivered a compelling invitation to UAE investors, urging them to explore investment opportunities across various sectors in Pakistan, including real estate, energy, agriculture, information technology, and more. The call was made during the Business Opportunities Conference held in Dubai, where Ambassador Tirmizi emphasized the significant potential for business collaboration between the two nations.
Addressing a gathering of over 100 businessmen from the UAE and Pakistan at Habtoor Palace, Ambassador Tirmizi underscored the Pakistan government’s commitment to fostering business-to-business collaboration. He particularly highlighted the vast opportunities for UAE investors, especially those with expertise in construction, in Pakistan’s real estate and infrastructure sectors.
Ambassador Tirmizi expressed his belief in the transformative power of businessmen as true leaders capable of steering economies towards growth. He emphasized the longstanding exemplary relations between Pakistan and the UAE, acknowledging the substantial contributions of the Pakistani diaspora to the progress and development of the UAE.
Paying homage to the visionary leadership of Sheikh Rashid bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Ambassador Tirmizi credited Sheikh’s dream of transforming the region into a commercial hub as the driving force behind the present-day success of Dubai.
Dr Abdelrahman Hassan Almuaini, Assistant Undersecretary of Intellectual Property Sector at the UAE Ministry of Economy, represented the UAE at the conference.
Highlighting Pakistan’s demographic advantage, with over 60% of its population below the age of 30, Ambassador Tirmizi positioned Pakistan as a nation of around 250 million people offering immense investment opportunities across diverse fields.
The conference also featured insights from key figures, including Ahsan Zafar Bakhtawari, President of Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Javed Malik, President of Overseas Pakistanis Business Forum and former ambassador of Pakistan, along with other prominent businessmen.
