The UAE Ministry of Justice Launches Automated Travel Ban Lifting Process

UAE to Automatically Lift Travel Bans After Legal Cases Resolve

The UAE Ministry of Justice (MoJ) announced in a recent update that the UAE travel ban will be automatically lifted once a legal case is resolved, eliminating the need for people to apply in person to have the ban lifted.

With this modification, a whole workday may be completed in a matter of minutes instead of hours.

Before, in order to have the travel restriction from the UAE lifted, impacted parties had to provide documentation of their permits and other relevant information.

But these processes are no longer necessary at all, which results in a notable performance boost. The government released a brief film highlighting the development and emphasising that none of the nine processes are necessary procedures.

The program is a component of the UAE’s wider Zero Government Bureaucracy project that was started earlier this year in the UAE. The program’s goal is to reduce pointless administrative processes in order to increase the effectiveness of central government services.

By automating the UAE’s travel ban lifting process, the MoJ is making government services faster and more accessible to the public.

Judicial authorities in Abu Dhabi and Dubai implemented automation of travel ban lifting.

Once the outstanding fines are settled, the ban will be lifted without further action from the affected person.

They can continue their journey without delay.
