UAE Sends 192 Tonnes of Winter Relief Supplies to Lebanon

The United Arab Emirates has sent relief supplies to displaced families in Lebanon as winter approaches.

A convoy of 27 trucks loaded with 192 tonnes of relief supplies was sent to Lebanon from the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR).

It is part of the ‘UAE Stands with Lebanon’ campaign and comes under the direction of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.

Guided by the leadership of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, Dubai stands firmly with Lebanon in its hour of need.

A powerful symbol of partnership and compassion, this aid convoy reflects our collective commitment to alleviate suffering and bring hope to communities facing unprecedented challenges,” said Mohammed Ibrahim Al Shaibani, President of Dubai Humanitarian Organization.
