UAE sends fifth aid ship to support Gaza humanitarian mission
Over 34,000 tonnes of aid delivered, including food, medical supplies, and sustainable support

UAE’s Fifth Aid Ship Strengthens Humanitarian Efforts for Gaza
The sixth UAE assistance ship to dock at Egypt’s Al Arish port marked a major milestone in the humanitarian effort to sustain Gaza. Operation Chivalrous Knight 3’s initiative serves as a lifeline, transporting more than 5,000 tonnes of basic supplies, such as food, shelter materials, medical equipment, and ambulances.
These contributions, coordinated by the Emirates Red Crescent and the Zayed Charity Foundation, bring the UAE’s total aid delivered to Gaza to an impressive 34,000 tonnes.
The ship, which set sail from Al Hamriya Port in Dubai on October 30, is a component of a broader initiative to lessen the suffering endured by Gazans in the midst of the continuing crisis. In addition to providing help, the UAE has advanced sustainable support by setting up six desalination facilities and two field hospitals to meet pressing water and medical needs. More than 600,000 people have already profited from these services.
The UAE has launched Operation Birds of Goodness, an airdrop campaign targeting the most isolated areas of Northern Gaza. This effort has resulted in the safe delivery of almost 3,600 tonnes of essential supplies, ensuring that aid reaches individuals in remote locations.
These comprehensive initiatives show solidarity and empathy in addressing urgent humanitarian needs, highlighting the UAE’s unwavering dedication to helping the people of Gaza.
