UAE: Ras Al Khaimah launches Golden Visa for educators
New initiative offers long-term residency to school leaders and teachers in Ras Al Khaimah

UAE: Ras Al Khaimah Launches Golden Visa Program for Educators
The Ras Al Khaimah Department of Knowledge (RAK DOK) on Thursday, November 14, launched the Golden Visa Program for educators in public and private schools across the emirate.
The program allows qualified professionals to self-finance by meeting specific criteria and obtaining long-term residency in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
The Ras Al Khaimah Golden Visa Program is open to two primary categories of academics:
School leaders: This includes principals, vice-principals and school directors.
Teachers: This includes all qualified educators currently working in public and private schools in Ras Al Khaimah.
The regulatory authority plans to streamline the visa application process to require at least three years of residency and employment in Ras Al Khaimah.
“This initiative recognizes the important role educators play in improving the quality of education for all students in Ras Al Khaimah,” said RAK DOK Board Member Dr. Abdulrahman Al Naqbi.
Eligible educators must submit an official letter of appointment, proof of academic qualifications, documents of residence and employment, and evidence of their contributions to improving school performance.
Once all required documents are submitted, RAK DOK will review and confirm the eligibility of the educator to visit the UAE Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship (ICP) for golden visa processing.
