UAE President Meets Turkish Foreign Minister to Strengthen Bilateral Ties
President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan received Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan in Abu Dhabi, highlighting the strong and growing relationship between the United Arab Emirates and Turkey. During the meeting, Sheikh Mohammed conveyed his warm greetings to Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and his strong hopes for Turkey’s continued growth and prosperity.
The talks focused on the long-standing strategic partnership between the two countries and on seeking ways to enhance cooperation in a number of areas that serve their common interests.
Minister Fidan reaffirmed the spirit of respect and cooperation between the UAE’s leadership and citizens by delivering President Erdogan’s greetings and best wishes.
The leaders also discussed current events in the region and around the world, reaffirming their shared commitment to advancing stability, security, and peace in the Middle East.
High-level diplomatic engagement is important to both countries, as seen by the presence of senior UAE government officials at the conference.
