UAE President and US Commerce Secretary Discuss Tech Investment, AI Collaboration

Washington DC [US], September 25: UAE President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan met US Commerce Secretary Gina Raimondo to discuss cooperation between the two countries.

The meeting highlighted the ongoing development of UAE-US relations in the fields of economy, trade, investment and technology, aligned with the two countries’ shared vision of achieving sustainable economic prosperity.

Discussions also touched on the importance of investing in artificial intelligence and advanced technologies to ensure a more prosperous, growth-oriented and sustainable future for all.
Both sides explored UAE-based MGX’s recent announcement of a global partnership with several US companies to invest in AI infrastructure.
This initiative reflects the development vision of the UAE, in which technology and AI play a key role.

Among those present at the meeting were HH Sheikh Tahnoon bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Ruler of Abu Dhabi and National Security Adviser; H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Saeed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Court for Special Affairs; Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Tahnoon Al Nahyan, Adviser on Special Affairs of the Presidential Court; Ali Bin Hammad Al Shamsi, Secretary General of the Supreme Council for National Security; Mohamed Hassan Alsuwaidi, Minister of Investment; Khaldoun Khalifa Al Mubarak, Chairman of the Administrative Affairs Commission; Youssef Al Otaiba, Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to the United States; and many other senior officials.
