Kenyan Ministry Announces 410 Job Opportunities in UAE with Attractive Salaries and Benefits
The Ministry of Labor and Social Security has advertised 410 job vacancies in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), offering significant opportunities to Kenyans seeking employment abroad. In a notice issued on Friday, December 6, Labor Cabinet Secretary Alfred Mutua invited qualified candidates to attend interviews scheduled the following day.
Mutua stressed the ministry’s commitment to creating quality employment opportunities for Kenyans while ensuring the highest standards of safety, welfare and compliance with labour laws.“ This initiative reflects our commitment to connecting Kenyans with reputable employers abroad and safeguarding their well-being,” he stated.
Interview Details
The physical interviews are set to take place on Saturday, December 7, at Kabete National Polytechnic from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Available Job Positions and Salaries
The Ministry highlighted several roles with competitive salaries:
Civil Foreman – 8 positions
Salary: Ksh 105,581.25 per month
Senior Supervisor – 2 positions
Salary: Ksh 193,565.62 per month
Steel Fixer – 200 positions
Salary: Ksh 38,713.12 per month plus overtime
Shuttering Carpenter – 200 positions
Salary: Ksh 38,713.12 per month plus overtime
Terms of Employment

Contract Duration: 2 years (renewable)
Probation Period: 6 months
Work Location: United Arab Emirates (UAE)

Growing Job Opportunities in the UAE
The announcement comes shortly after Cabinet Secretary Mutua announced additional job openings for Kenyans in Dubai. On December 5, the ministry announced 600 job openings for boda boda riders and 500 positions for nannies. Representatives from the UAE company are expected to arrive in Kenya next week to conduct interviews.
The salary for Boda Boda riders is described as 2,925 dirhams per month (approximately Ksh 104,000), tax-free for 26 working days.
