Focus on Cooperation and Development

The two leaders exchanged greetings for the remainder of Ramadan and discussed a range of topics related to cooperation. Ambassador Mohamed El-Shennawy, the Egyptian presidential spokesman, stressed that the visit is in line with the long-standing relationship between the two countries.

Sheikh Mohamed was treated to an iftar dinner hosted by El-Sisi, where the two sides reaffirmed their commitment to deepening their ties in a number of areas, including the economy, investment and energy. The UAE continues to be one of Egypt’s largest investors, with notable projects such as the $35 billion Ras Al Hekma development.
