ABU DHABI: President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan has ordered the launch of comprehensive initiatives and programs to effectively support and strengthen the Emirati family.
On Wednesday, Sheikh Mohammed was present as part of the annual meeting of the UAE government in Abu Dhabi, with the participation of more than 500 leaders and officials of federal and local institutions.
The President attended a dedicated session on ‘Building the Emirati Family’ where leaders and officials from the social, education, human development and health sectors discussed the importance of family formation in the UAE and the need to provide all the necessary elements for its growth. Empowerment.
The session highlighted key social and economic factors and challenges affecting families and presented significant initiatives taken by the government to support youth and encourage them to build stable families.
In addition, the discussion highlighted efforts to improve social awareness of the importance of strong Emirati family units and outlined long-term solutions and policies within the national agenda to foster cohesive family development.
During the session, the Supreme Leader of the United Arab Emirates stressed that it is a collective national responsibility to build Emirati families and ensure the factors that support their development.
Individuals, society and institutions each have a role to play and it is an integrated system using various resources to achieve this goal, he highlighted. Sheikh Mohammed advised all organizations and institutions to actively support the organization by providing comprehensive initiatives, programs and policies that effectively and positively contribute to the establishment and empowerment of the Emirati family.
He stressed that fostering family development is essential to building the UAE society and enhancing its capacity to meet the demands of the extensive growth phase the country is currently experiencing and will continue into the future.
The session was attended by the Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister and President of the Presidential Court Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense Lt. Gen. Shaikh. Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior and other Sheikhs.
The session was attended by a large number of ministers, senior officials and experts from various sectors including social and family affairs, education, health and human development, economy and infrastructure.
