Multiple Arrests Made as Authorities Crack Down on Violations for Eid Al Etihad Festivities

Fujairah Police Enforce Strict Rules During UAE National Day Celebrations

Authorities in Fujairah have taken strong measures against those who disobey the rules for celebrating National Day, and several people and a camp owner have been arrested. The police made the announcement on Monday that the infractions were caused by actions that were considered unsuitable for Union Day, also called Eid Al Etihad.

The offenders were caught using party sprays—a prohibited act under the regulations set by the Ministry of Interior. In an Instagram post, Fujairah Police emphasized that such actions are “improper and have no connection to the spirit of Union Day.”
