UAE National Day Celebrations Highlighted by Google Doodle

Abu Dhabi: Google Doodle celebrates UAE National Day. The Google Doodle features a fluttering UAE national flag. The UAE celebrates this day, which the UAE calls Eid al-Etihad, as a day of unity, progress, and awakening.

The seven emirates came together on December 2, 1971, with the idea of forming a single union. The six emirates of Abu Dhabi, Ajman, Dubai, Fujairah, Sharjah, and Umm al-Quwain united under a single flag. This marked the UAE as an independent nation. The then ruler, Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, led this. With one-tenth of the world’s oil reserves in the UAE, the region has flourished economically and the UAE has become one of the world’s largest employers.

The country is preparing to celebrate National Day in a big way. There will be several Eid al-Etihad zones across the country’s seven emirates. The main venue for Eid al-Etihad will be in Al Ain. Officials have announced that extensive celebrations will be held in the emirates of the country, including Dubai and Sharjah.

A public holiday has also been declared on December 2 and 3. The Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratization has announced that the holiday will apply to both the public and private sectors. The government has also issued guidelines for the public to follow in connection with the celebration.

As part of the celebrations, Yeo has also arranged several entertainment programs. The most important of which is the fireworks display at night. In Dubai, if you take a place at Dubai Festival City Mall, Hatta Sign, Bluewaters and JBR, Global Village, and Riverland Dubai Parks and Resorts at 8 pm, you can see the fireworks display beautifully.

As part of the 53rd Eid al-Etihad celebrations, the world’s tallest building, Burj Khalifa, has been given a facelift with a new lighting system. The important spots in Abu Dhabi are Yas Bay Waterfront, Yas Marina Circuit, and Al Maryah Island.
