UAE Launches Major Phase of Operation Chivalrous Knight 3 to Aid Gaza

UAE Expands Humanitarian Efforts in Gaza with Largest Phase of Operation Chivalrous Knight 3
Abu Dhabi [UAE], January 20: The UAE, under the leadership of President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, has begun the largest phase of Operation Chivalrous Knight 3, a major humanitarian endeavor to aid Gaza inhabitants. The operation takes place at the same time that a humanitarian ceasefire is announced, allowing for extensive relief activities to help those in the region who are suffering greatly.
Today’s operation sent a convoy of 20 trucks carrying more than 200 tonnes of essential aid, including food items, winter clothing and other basic necessities, to help families struggling amid the crisis.
Commitment to the people of Gaza
Hamad Al Neyadi, Head of the UAE Relief Mission in Support of the Palestinian People, highlighted the UAE’s unwavering commitment to supporting the Palestinian people.
“The UAE’s ongoing dedication to help is exemplified by Operation Chivalrous Knight 3. In our continuous attempts to lessen suffering in Gaza, this phase is the biggest,” Al Neyadi stated.
To guarantee that assistance reaches the impacted population in a timely and efficient manner, the operation is being conducted in conjunction with the appropriate authorities.
Thus far, humanitarian impact
Operation Chivalrous Knight 3 has had a significant influence since its inception:
156 aid packages containing 29,784 tonnes of aid have been delivered
Relief efforts include a field hospital in Gaza, a floating hospital in Arish and water desalination plants in Rafah
Special efforts such as the “Birds of Good” airdrop project have brought aid to hard-to-reach areas
The operation has provided critical support to vulnerable communities in Gaza, addressing basic needs and alleviating the harsh winter conditions and prolonged hardship.
Extensive humanitarian efforts
The UAE has dedicated more than 2,500 trucks, five major transport ships and more than 500 airlifts to deliver aid via Egypt. Key projects include:
Medical support: setting up mobile and field hospitals, moving critical patients to facilities in the UAE
Water projects: building desalination facilities with a capacity to produce two million gallons per day
The provision of air support to inaccessible areas of northern Gaza is an example of innovative assistance.
