Sharjah Airport Launches Direct Flights to Kraków, Poland in Collaboration with Air Arabia
Sharjah Airport and Air Arabia have announced a significant milestone in aviation connectivity with the launch of direct flights from Sharjah to Poland, specifically to Kraków. This new route marks an important step forward in enhancing travel options and strengthening ties between the UAE and Poland.
Initially operating three weekly flights, the service aims to meet the increasing demand in both passenger and cargo sectors between the two countries. With plans to expand the frequency of flights in the future, the route is poised to cater to growing travel needs and facilitate smoother business interactions.
The inauguration of the Sharjah-Kraków route was celebrated at an official ceremony attended by prominent figures including Ali Salim Al Midfa, Chairman of Sharjah Airport Authority (SAA), and Jakub Kacper Sławek, Ambassador of Poland to the UAE. This event underscored the collaborative efforts between Sharjah Airport and Air Arabia to bolster air connectivity and promote tourism exchanges.
Ali Salim Al Midfa highlighted the strategic significance of this new air link, stating, “The launch of this route aligns with the growth of mutual relations in economic, commercial, and tourism fields between the UAE and Poland.” He emphasized the role of enhanced connectivity in fostering economic activities and cultural exchanges, underscoring Sharjah’s appeal as a destination rich in tourism attractions, entertainment offerings, natural landscapes, environmental sites, and cultural heritage.

Sharjah Airport, a pivotal hub in the region, boasts connections to 26 international airlines servicing over 100 destinations across 63 countries. This extensive network positions Sharjah as a preferred gateway for travelers and businesses, facilitating seamless travel experiences and promoting global accessibility.
The partnership between Sharjah Airport and Air Arabia not only addresses the increasing demand for travel but also supports the economic and tourism sectors of both nations. The introduction of direct flights to Kraków represents a significant milestone in bilateral relations, promising to deepen cultural ties and spur tourism growth.
