While dozens of people have been trying for years to win the Big Ticket Abu Dhabi jackpot, a 32-year-old Indian expatriate based in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) has won 25 million dirhams (Rs. 57,67,37,000). The latest draw.

The winner, Aravind Appukuttan, bought ticket number 447363 of draw number 269 on November 22 and took home the grand prize.

Aravind, who works as a sales officer in Sharjah, has been participating in the draw for the past 2 years.

He will share the prize money with 20 people who donated to buy tickets.

Aravind was shopping in Sharjah when he received the life-changing news. “I never expected to win. “I don’t know what I’m going to do,” he told the show’s hosts Richard and Bouchra.

He plans to use the winnings to pay off some debts and save the rest for the future.

Up to Rs 69 crore has been raised
The Big Ticket draw announced a guaranteed prize of Dh30 million (Rs 69,20,58,900) in December, with four additional millionaire winners through weekly e-draws.

UAE residents can win cash prizes ranging from Dh20,000 (Rs 4,61,372) to Dh150,000 (Rs 34,60,294), and will automatically win the draw on January 1, 2025, by purchasing two tickets for Dh1,000 (Rs 23,068).

In addition, participants will be able to win a ‘dream car’ The prize is a Maserati Grayscale.

Ticket purchases can be made online on the Big Ticket website or at stores at Zayed International Airport and Al Ain Airport.
