Saudi Arabia Showcases Ecotourism and Conservation at ADIHEX 2024
Dubai, September 1, [UAE]: Saudi Arabia is taking part in the 21st Abu Dhabi International Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition (ADIHEX), which is being held at the ADNEC Center in Abu Dhabi and runs until September 8, 2024. The event opened yesterday.

This is achieved through a unique interactive experience that explores the country’s cultural heritage, showcasing the authenticity of the local community and its creative traditional arts and crafts.
Imam Turki Bin Abdullah Royal Reserve Development Authority’s pavilion will showcase its flagship ecotourism projects, namely the North Reserve, Saudi Arabia’s first sustainable game reserve, and Hasaki Caravans, which offer a unique experience for individuals and families. Amazing scenery.
Additionally, the pavilion will highlight extraordinary experiences such as camping activities and stargazing in the dark sky area.
By participating in the Abu Dhabi International Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition, the Authority aims to promote ecotourism, protect the environment and engage with the local community. The Commission seeks to highlight its efforts in eco-tourism, environmental protection and conservation of natural resources. Mohammed Al-Shalan, CEO of Imam Turki Bin Abdullah Royal Reserve Development Authority, told Emirates News Agency (WAM). Pursue tradition and recent developments in light of the growing need for traditional recreation, conservation of nature and promotion of environmental sustainability.
Imam Turki bin Abdullah Royal Reserve is the second largest royal reserve with an area of 91,500 square kilometers. It is home to over 138 species of wildlife and over 179 species of flora. This reserve is known for its exquisite natural beauty, unique ecological and biological diversity, numerous heritage sites and historical landmarks.
The Saudi National Center for Wildlife (NCW), which is responsible for the protection, conservation and development of the country’s wildlife, is participating in the event highlighting the importance of wildlife conservation and ongoing nature conservation in Saudi Arabia. NCW will highlight Saudi Arabia’s leading efforts in fisheries regulation with an interactive exhibit at ADIHEX.
An NCW spokesperson said NCW wants to convert 30 percent of the country into protected areas by 2030.
