UAE Foreign Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Meets French Armed Forces Minister in Paris
Paris [France], March 11: Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the UAE, held a meeting with Sebastien Lecornu, France’s Minister of the Armed Forces, during his working visit to Paris.
Upon his arrival at the French Ministry of Armed Forces, Sheikh Abdullah was honored with an official welcome ceremony. The national anthems of the UAE and France echoed through the venue, while a guard of honour stood in salute, marking the significance of the visit.
Sheikh Abdullah and Minister Lecornu discussed measures to enhance the strategic partnership between France and the UAE, with a focus on security cooperation. In addition, their meeting provided a forum to discuss pressing regional and international issues identified by both sides.
Prominent UAE officials accompanying Sheikh Abdullah included Reem bint Ebrahim Al Hashimy, Minister of State for International Cooperation; Noura bint Mohammed Al Kaabi, Minister of State; Saeed Mubarak Al Hajeri, Assistant Minister for Economic and Trade Affairs; Fahad Saeed Al Raqbani; and Omar Saif Ghobash, Advisor to the Minister of Foreign Affairs and UAE Non-Resident Ambassador to the Vatican.
