UAE Citizens Now Benefit from Fast-Track US Entry with ‘Global Entry’ Program

The US has eased cross-border travel for Emiratis with an expedited entry procedure. After an initial announcement in September, the UAE Ministry of Interior and the US Department of Homeland Security have implemented the inclusion of Emirati citizens in the ‘Global Entry’ program.

UAE nationals with US visas will be able to enter the US more easily and swiftly as a result. By streamlining the travel process, Emiratis will be able to enter more than 75 US ports of entry with ease. Through the ‘Global Entry’ program, UAE nationals will be able to travel to the US for leisure, business, or personal reasons.

Simplified access to authorized transit gates at US airports will improve travel for passengers and fortify the close bilateral relations between the US and the UAE.

The United States Department of Homeland Security and the UAE Ministry of Interior inked an agreement. During Sheikh Mohammed’s formal visit to the US, the deal was reached.

Applicants must fill out the official webpage at https://ttp.dhs.gov/ in order to participate. They can employ automated verification equipment at the ports and will be subject to a security background check after submission, which will drastically cut down on paperwork and waiting times. It should be mentioned that visitors still need to have a current U.S. entrance visa.
